Can I bring my Dog to the event?
No you can't sorry unless it is an assistance, mobility or guide dog
Is there food and drink available at the event?
Yes we have a full cafe inside the Pavilion and a huge array of amazing food trucks in the food court area outside
When do Tickets go on sale?
Tickets will go online for purchase around early September 2024
Where can I purchase a Ticket?
You can purchase online via our website or on the day at the Event
Is there free parking available?
Yes we have ample free parking for everyone within close proximity to the Event
Is there mobility parking at the event?
Yes we have a completely seperate mobility parking area right next to the event entry and our friendly parking team will ensure you find a park in the right area if you require mobility parking
What is the date and time for the Sika Show?
The Show is on the 8th & 9th November 2025 and is open Saturday 8th from 9am to 5pm and Sunday 9th from 9am to 4pm
How do I enter a head in the Competition?
You can do that online via our website or on the Saturday at the show before 2pm. We highly recommend doing your entry online however which will save time for you at the check in process on Saturday.
If I enter a head in the competition do I need to buy a ticket to get into the show?
Yes you do need to purchase a ticket for entry for the Saturday however all head entrants will receive free entry for the Sunday to attend Prize Giving and collect their heads, unless they had the head entered by someone else on the Saturday. In this case they must purchase a gate ticket to enter the show and then pick up their head tag to retrieve their head after prize giving.
What time is Prize Giving on Sunday 3rd November?
Prize Giving starts at 3pm on Sunday 9th November
Can Children attend the Event?
Yes absolutely, the Sika Show is very family and child friendly and we have many interactive things for the kids to participate in.
Is there any facilities for Mothers and Babies?
Yes we have a seperate mothers and babies toilet/changing area etc which is directly behind the information centre near the entrance of the pavilion. Our friendly staff at the Information Desk will be more than happy to give you directions to this or point that out to you if you need any help.
Is there anything for the Ladies at the event?
Yes there sure is, we have a lot of Game Food cooking stands, spice rubs, sauces, amazing hunting and back country art, big boys toys, wild game printed throws, photo competition, tea towels, rugs, fine etched glassware, amazing printed wooden chopping blocks & homewares, utensils and artworks, multiple woman's clothing brands, New Zealand Woman hunters founder and stand, multiple conservation based stands, a huge selection of small goods, salami's etc not to mention Ruahine Ports, Lammermoor Distillery and the event is of course an amazing place to buy Christmas presents for the man or men in your life!
